SCULPTOR AND PAINTER
Born in Yerevan (Armenia).
He made the first plaster sculpture at the age of 7.
1986 – 1990 entered the P. Terlemezyan State Art School (department of sculpture), graduated with honors.
1990 – entered Yerevan Theatre And Art Academy, faculty of sculpture.
1993 – continued his studies at the Repin Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture of the Russian Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg).
2007 – moved to Moscow.
He has been actively exhibiting his works for more than 30 years.
124 solo and 282 group exhibitions since 1985.
AMUR’s works are exhibited in various art collections almost on all continents except Antarctica. More than 3000 works of his are in private collections. While staying in Moscow, his paintings were exhibited in the CHA and the Manezh. He exhibits in US galleries in Las Vegas (Nevada), San Diego (California). He is a participant of International exhibitions, Art-Expo New York, participant of the 1st International Art Festival in Hainan Island (China), as well as ART BEIJING (China). Exhibition in Hong Kong. Exhibition in Versailles. Exhibited in the Russian ethnographic Museum (St. Petersburg). Exhibition in the Beloselsky-Belozersky palace (St. Petersburg) in 2004. Participation in exhibitions of Art Manezh “Tradition and Modernity” (Moscow). Exhibited at the Pierre Cardin Art Center (Paris). Exhibited at the international exhibition in the Louvre.
