Contemporary artist Eden Eisenberg follows the metamodernist paradigm, she is among the most intriguing names in “new sincerity” art.
Eden explores the game like constructs of contemporary visual culture such as the similarities and fundamental differences between virtual and real experience, homo ludens and homo sapiens. In her works she brings to life her own experience of professional practice as an Electronics and software engineer, experimenting with the dynamics of an image that can be easily reassembled.
She works with the method of phenomenological analysis, focusing on what seems obvious and self evident.
She is interested in problematizing, questioning the self understood status of visual patterns and unique objects that surround the contemporary person in virtual spaces and penetrate real, corporeal spaces.
E. Eisenberg is interested in art that has transcended its formal boundaries, and is now influenced by philosophy, sociology, and actually modern life.
